Trademark licensing example?
Can anybody provide an example of a trademark being licensed by an organization?
I understand how trademarks are, and yes the question is about instances of somebody licensing their trademark to another person.
Would appreciate examples related to better-known organizations.

Do you mean one that the trademark owner has allowed another person to use under licence?
Most trade names are trademarks, look at the top of the page..YAHOO ! is a registered trademark, some become a generic term though, Cashpoint is a trademark of Lloyds TSB for it's hole in the wall cash machines but we all use the term to describe any such facility supplied by any bank

the main typical royalty rates are 5% and 10% of internet revenues (gross receipts minus returns changes, revenues taxes and so on); approximately 50% of publicly attainable licensing agreements have a variety of two rates. what's right in a particular case relies upon on the anticipated profitability that the licensee can gain; in severe margin purposes the linked fee may well be bigger than 5%, in low-margin purposes, no longer lots. yet another attention isn't any count if revenues are made at wholesale or retail (bigger rates interior the former, many times a million/2 the linked fee interior the latter). An previous "rule of thumb" nevertheless used as a beginning component is 25% of the gross margin.
