Why Does a Liberal Ask a Question About John Wayne?

Make an unfounded, Ill-informed accusation, about John Wayne, who has been dead for 30 years, when they could be worried about the corruption going on in Washington DC right now? With former Hillary campaign employees getting millions of dollars of Stimulus money?

Wouldn't that be a better topic to ask about?

Update:

So no liberal wants to answer why some one cares more about a long dead actor than living, actively corrupt Democrats in Washington DC?

This foolishness started whilst Republican candidate Michelle Bachman mis stated the birthplace of John Wayne the actor as Waterloo Iowa rather of Winterset Iowa. Liberals finding for a huge gamble to Palinize yet another lady Republican pounced on the possibility to accuse her of blending up John Wayne with the serial killer John Wayne Gacy who commited a number of his crimes in Waterloo Iowa. Republicans have been rapid to show out that Gacy became a registered Democrat. i assume that's what passes for political debate recently.

I'm not a liberal and I've rarely made a comment about a man who was a screen legend and a bit of a swell-headed chicken hawk off it. Did you know that Mr. Wayne refused to enlist in the armed services (he didn't have to because he was the father of four children) if they didn't commission him an officer? They didn't, and he never served a day, unlike that other battle shy hero, Ronald Reagan, who spent the war behind a desk in Hollywood. Oh yes, he did wear a major's uniform while he was pushing his pencil. His excuse? He was hard of hearing. Some conservative icons. And incidentally, where were you when Bush started the bailout fiasco. I didn't hear a peep from you liberal neo-cons then. Man up my friend and read the biography of Barry Goldwater, the last real conservative this country had the privilege of knowing.

You have to overlook liberals, they are not house broke and in truth are just children trapped in an adult body, the current Congress and Administration is a perfect example of that, when they don't get their way , they call people names ( like ,Teabaggers, Mobs, Astro Turf, Bible Clingers), then go into their room, slam the door and scream , then lay across the bed and Boo Hoo, saying that's not fair, that's not fair**********************************

You people bring him up all the time for being a great con. I like him, but pick a better one than that.

Liberals need to worry about the present and future since they will suffer just as conservatives will with what this administration is doing to the American Public!

A better and more recent issue should be why did so many republicans defend bush for his blatant invasion of a sovereign nation that was no threat to this country?

Well why not, Wayne was a lifelong Democrat.
