Yeah, it's possible because sometimes I miss a couple of contacts who haven't used Y!A in awhile. I frantically e-mailed one dear one, (asking ruok?) & she refreshed my memory of her travel plans & mentioned health problems that she & her husband are having that were a bit troubling at that time. Still, there's nothing I can do. Also there's one who was expecting a baby, & missing her, I keep meaning to e-mail her or to look to see if she's removed me as a contact or what. After all, some people might be bored with my questions. It's hard to imagine, since they're such incredibly interesting questions (heh, heh), but we don't all share the same interests or a sense of humor. Ah, well.
I do wish there were a simplified way for someone to notify contacts when someone dies or whatever. Might be especially relevant for seniors whose health is sometimes precarious. Otherwise, we'll be stuck trying to maintain a sense of non-attachment & not feeling too close to anyone, no matter how many touching e-mails & answers have been exchanged. Alas!

No I doubt anyone would miss me. I tend to write long passages for the most part. So I think that
would be welcomed. I tend to be more serious online than I am in real life, so perhaps I'm thought of as dull and boring. But finding laughter every day, or singing a song, makes me happy and sometimes mischievious in a fun way. I used to want people around me most of the time, to keep
the laughter flowing. Now I accept being without friends nearby, and find the humor in forwards and
on line contacts. I hope I'm not losing my fun sense of humor in my old age. But getting older is
not something I look upon with the humor I used to. There are too many things hitting home.

No. I feel I blend into the background. I don't think my absence would be noticed until I returned.
There are many I would miss & would notice if they were gone.
I have not had regular e-mail contact with them so they would never even be aware.
There is one user that reminds me of Peppermint Patty w/out the candy. I always look for that Users answers b/c we seem so like minded in replies that I just scroll down, find the User, read, thumbs up & move on to the next question.
Then there are some who have over come alcohol addiction from the past & I like their "tell it like it is" answer form.
Some of those "real" avatars on the men are always nice to look at.
Eh, I could go on & on. I think I would miss Users more than I'd be missed or thought about.

Anyone can be replaced but it would be nice to know that someone would miss this old bag who loves to write on Y/A. I know that I would miss many of you who frequent this site. It's nice to be able to send special greetings to you all, and with that said, I send you my best wishes for a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, a prosperous New Year and a Happy Holiday (holy day). I put the holy day in there because the word holiday comes from holy and when store clerks are told to say happy holiday instead of Merry Christmas, I respond with "a Happy Holy Day to you, also."

I don't think so. I've been gone for a few months. Of course I don't know anyone on here. If your well known I'd say yes they would miss you.

Even if I have been here awhile I doubt I would be missed. I know of some I miss now and others I would miss if they left. Poppy

I know some would miss me. There are some that I miss, and I try to find out how they are doing.
