You listed the Mortal Instruments trilogy by Cassandra Clare there, good choice, those are my favourite books of all time.

I'm surprised you didn't like the Uglies series, they're also one of my all-time favourite series.

    Um..

    Memoirs of a Geisha

    The Secret Life of Bees

    Life on the Refrigerator Door

    A Series of Unfortunate Events

Er, can't think of anymore. You seem to like fantasy (me too!) just google 'good fantasy for teens' or 'good fantasy for YA'.

    In Harm's Way.

It is an account of the WW II story of a ship being sunk by torpedoes, and the crew surviving their ordeal at sea. The account was briefly shared by "Quin" to "Brody" in the original Jaws movie.
