39 weeks pregnant with second baby - labour?
I no this is my second pregnancy so i should no the signs of labour but im still in the i dont know stage. the past few nights i have had some cramping and twice when i wipe there was clear stringy egg like discharge am i on my way or torturing myself - any stories similar would help

It sounds like to me that you are on your way. The Stringy egg discharge sounds like it could be your mucus plug coming out. Congrats.

I had that kind of discharge a few days before my 2nd baby was born so maybe labor is just around the corner. Lucky you. I'm due on Saturday but no signs yet :(

I was in labour for 24 hours before going to the hospital. If you are dilating (ie mucous plug is coming out) then it could be any time. Unfortuantely every labour is different and you can only guess before it happens!

sounds very close. when your pains start coming and going at a steady rate then you are in labor. every pregnancy is drfferent and when i just had my third child 7 months ago it was so different from my first two labors i wasnt sure if i was in labor. but yes it sounds like you might be going into labor.
