Yes this is a huge scam, you can just google it to find out. Employers have access to a computer and can easily look up whatever institution you get your "degree from" most reputable schools have a website that's easily accessible.

You aren't fooling anyone by getting a degree that way. When those places check references, it's just going to make him look worse. Save the money!! It's a scam!! Do you think that a degree that he didn't work for will pull the same weight as a person who spent 4 or more years EARNING a real diploma at a prestigious university??? Absolutely not, or everyone would drop out of college and get one.
Source(s): I'm studying at Purdue University. If I thought I could drop out and buy a diploma that held the same influence, I wouldn't be wasting time and energy. GO TO A REAL SCHOOL!! - matt83840Lv 51 decade ago
where is he getting one of these at? i know some colleges will give credit towards classes for life experiences or work place experience but i never have heard of a full degree for it. He'll i sell him a degree for $250 if he wants one.

I've never heard of that, which probably means many companies will not have either. Most likely they will choose those with a real degree over him. He should probably get a real college degree.

its a scam there is no such thing... however if he chose to go to school for his degree they would give him "life credits" for having previous work experience in that field.
