Tattoo suggestions for someone dealing with infertility...?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for two years...it's been very difficult on our relationship, but has also made us that much closer. I'm at a point now that I've started to accept it may never happen for us (I'm not giving up yet, but trying to be realistic).

I wanted to get something to symbolize this feeling and this time in my life...

I already have two other tats, a fairy from a book my Grandfather gave me as a child-(lower back) and a mythical humming bird that I got after college when I felt a great sense of freedom and hope(right shoulder blade)...this would be a third and I want it to sort of fit with the theme of my other two...I'm thinking some kind of flower...I'm not sure where I want it but it would be nice to have it in a place I can actually see without a mirror :P

Update:

those are nice suggestions...do you mean baby shoes? because just feet might be kind of weird lol

I'm really trying to find something that reflects my new mentality of hope though...something that says I made it through some crap but now it's time to focus on me!

Hmmm. Maybe a cherub? Or just a set of angel wings? It fits the theme but not sure if you will find it relates to your struggle, but I think the cherub fits :) Here is a pic of my cherub tat (keep in mind it wasn't finished at this point, but you will get the gist)

To me, it has deep meaning. I love how the cherub is reaching for the sky. Maybe something along the lines of that? I also have a big set of angel wings on my back, but not sure if it's what you are looking for. Have you considered a lotus flower? A blue rose represents fantasy, and the hope for a miracle and new beginning. You could search for flower tattoos and their meanings and see if you come across anything you like. Good luck to you :)

I am new at TTC, and I really hope that there will be no problems,. I just wanted to give you all a big hug! I am sitting here crying after reading the question, and the other stories. I am so sorry this is happening to you. Just make sure that you assure your husband that there are other options, and that you love him, and you will never leave his side. Men need a lot more reassurance, especially when it comes to their ability to get you pregnant. This is a huge hard burden, but don't let it come between you 2. You are all such strong women, and I will keep you all in my prayers. I wish the best for you all!

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.

The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/51901

I would go with something a bit more complex if you are SURE you want a reminder of this forever. I am kinda seeing a pair of hands (perhaps a pair of female hands and a pair of male hands even) reaching for a fairy style baby, flying just out of reach.......maybe
