Can't get ahold of my husband...getting worried....?

I talked to my husband over an hour ago and he said he was on his way home from work. It only takes 10-15min. to get home. I have called his desk at work and his cell phone several times left messages and txts and nothing. This never happens. I am getting very worried he got in a wreck or something! What do I do????

Don't assume something bad happened, he could have got stopped on the way out of the office to do something last minute and/or his cell phone may be dead or he can't answer it.

The most probable worst case scenario is that he has been involved in a car accident. If he has been in an accident, you will be contacted as soon as they get him to the ER (if that is necessary) and identify him (look in his wallet for an insurance card, check his cell phone).

If you're really nervous, you can call the nearest hospital to his route home and see if he has been admitted to the ER.

Other than that, you can just wait and I very much hope for his sake that he didn't stop to have a beer with a friend and can't hear his cellphone because of the happy hour crowd.

Molliemormon is right too, you can call the non-emergency police number and give them a description of his car, they'll know whether or not their units have responded to an accident involving his vehicle.

Does he ever struggle with being on time? Or is this a first?

I would call you local police dept (NOT the emergency number) and just see if they've heard anything. They can probably help you decide what to do next.

    Good luck and God bless

    Any word yet?

Try and relax. Maybe he stopped at a store, or did not get to leave as soon as he thought he would be able to. Don't get yourself too stressed out! Think positive thoughts!
