What would you believe would be the reason my question on Haitian Adoption Hysteria?

was reported and deleted?? I did not give a rant, I gave a list of mass media articles that did not contain any links. The captioned news articles were all related/relevant to the question both positively and not so positive. There was no promotion of any specific website nor blog. I did not ETA any answer with an opinion/response of my own to any individual, in fact I responded to no one. I made no disparaging/insulting/offensive remarks to any one individual person or as a group. SO! what to you believe was wrong about posing a question about Haitian Adoptions, without any further detail/response/remarks from me, and how would a person find it violating YA TOS? Truly I would like to know. Thank you!

Update:

ETA: Thank you YA Appeals!! I appealed and my question was restored. There is justice in this world afterall...and The Truth Shall Set Us Free. Thanks to all who answered supportively or not. All of our answers questions and answers matter on YA...it's called Freedom of Speech...something that many people have died for and/or been terribly injured, one way or another, in the quest for.

Your question was timely, and it gave facts.

Now I see we are back to the usual..wasting time with questions about adopting in Haiti, while the country crumbles.

Remember the Viet nam baby lift? Another example of a similar child stampede? But, that was a learning experience for at least some people.

That is why some people have been posting the message to slow down the applications for adoption in Haiti and help with relief efforts...first.

confident, it somewhat is! I verify adoption information feeds daily, and for the final week or so they have all been "community kinfolk concerns approximately Haitian toddler they have been in the ideas-set of adopting" and "the place am i able to get a Haitian!?" i do no longer blame people who difficulty proper to the toddler they had deliberate to hold to the U. S. till now disaster hit. I additionally desire to think of human beings recommend nicely, yet while they hear uncounted hundreds are ineffective and their first concept is outwardly "howdy, i could desire to attain a toddler out of this," that is problematical to make extra advantageous the earnings of the doubt. it is likewise shameful that adoption is "the entire tale" proper to the Haiti earthquake for many individuals. we don't hear plenty approximately people who have been already suffering crushing poverty going with out drinkable water.

Because all it takes is a few people working together to "validate" the "abuse" of the TOS and somehow...it makes it a violation. So much for respecting each other's views...no matter how different.

Your question had links and information containing FACTS! I suspect some people don't like dealing with those.

It was uncalled for. I hope you appeal it.

Every time I ask a question about adoption, I get reported. I guess people don't like to be challenged... even though they supposedly strive to Challenge the "system" themselves.

I don't think there was a good reason for it. You have the right to express concern/dislike or even hatred about it, if you wanted to! Not everyone has to agree with your position on it.

don't worry about it. someone didn't like what you said and decided to act like a 12 year old child and got pettish.

on one of those 'why do you hate adoption?' question, the asker called all 'bitter adoptees' who responded heartless morons. Her question stayed my answer got reported and deleted because I said she was an idiot for not taking to heart what people who have been through adoption have to say.

    Go figure.

OH! I just got another violation notice e-mail. I said someone was down right stupid when they called another user sick & ignorant. I reported theirs and guess what? Still there!

  • it's not what you are saying, it's how you come across. when will you realize that you are hurting your cause? people are not saying you are wrong for how you feel, they are saying you are wrong for the way you spew your hatred towards people doing their best to help children in need.
