Can you tell me what all the symbols in this painting are, more so those that surround the Star of David?

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4029/4293293087_d24...

I know two of those symbols are the symbol for male and female, but I dont know what the others are that surround the star of david in the center.

Thank you for the help

Beginning at the top and going clockwise, outside to inside

    -Caudecus of Hermes

    -The Sun

    - The symbol for fire

    - The symbol for air

    - The alchemical symbol for mercury

    -The symbol for earth

    -The symbol for water

    - The Moon

-All of the symbols within the circle are the astrological signs for the zodiac constellations

    - The angel in the picture is holding the astrological sign of The Sun, and wears YELLOW so he is the archangel Raphael. He appears to be in front of a cube, representing the physical universe.

    The next circle in-

    - The symbol for the planet Saturn

    -The alchemical symbol for Sulfur

    - The symbol for the planet Jupiter

    - the symbol for the planet Venus

    - The alchemical symbol for salt

    - The symbol for the planet Mars.

Inside of the beaker is the basic Hexagram, representing the fusion of man and god. [Also, male and female, and Fire and Water]

On a the whole this picture appears to be the composition of the Philosopher's Stone, which is in it's self within the beaker.

That is a really neat looking picture. It looks like the other two symbols surrounding the Star of David are Ceres and Jupiter. Also, and I'm sure you already know this, the symbol for Kundalini is at the top with the snakes coiled around the pole...

What is interesting to me is that the American Medical symbol usually looks like the symbol for the Kundalini.

Thanks for sharing :) Love and blessings!

    look up astrological signs:

scroll further down for symbols for planets for additional info. I would guess in this context it is not male and female sign but signs for the planets Mars and Venus.

The ones in the outer ring are the signs of the zodiac, but they're the only ones I recognize.
