    It's just like with babies. Kittens and babies are born to be adorable so that the parent pays more attention to them and cares for them.

    Because you consider them cute. If you were raised to, you could think that cockroaches were the cutest animals ever and kittens were disgusting. It's just what the human race is generally raised to believe.
