eyebrow piercing rash or infection help?
hi ive gotten my lip pierced and used surgical steel and i got a rash so i took it out the same thing happens with fake silver and gold and steel with necklaces but i have a ring thats only steel or something fake and no rash do you think if i got an eyebrrow piercing it would cause a rash around the area? my ears when they were pierced didnt have a rash either. it seems to heppen on more sensitive parts of the body

Sounds like you might have a nickel allergy.
Titanium would be your best bet. I wouldn't bother trying surgical steel again.
(Niobium is better, but only comes in rings)
Or PTFE or glass (although glass wouldn't be a great idea in a such a small gauge)

A good idea is obviously to not use surgical steel. Use sterling silver or white gold.
