Some person told me one time?
That in the Hebrew blood lineage, the blood travels through the women. That was how Jesus got the blood of David flowing through him. My question is, if blood was determined through the mother, why does Genesis give such a long lineage starting with Adam & naming only the sons? How does it jump from lineage of men to lineage of woman for what appears to me to be 1 person, & then back to men up til now?
Extra credit: Does the price of tea in China effect the bull in the China shop?

That person was wrong. It was effectively and strictly a patriarchal society.
Yes, the price of tea in China affected how much tea was bought, which then affected what was fed to the bull which, when he effected his escape, affected how angry he was and when he got into the china shop he effected a much greater amount of damage to the already defective merchandise which affected the ability of the shop owner to then buy and sell tea which gave him time to reflect on his choices and ultimately led to a drop in the price of tea in China and effectively affected things so the price once again stabilized to be tea table-sized, effectively speaking without any affectations on my part. Does my strenuously effected answer affect my getting the ten points?

Lineage is both patriarchal and Matriarchal within Judaism. The importance of the Mother's lineage is that that is what determines if one is born a Jew. A Jewish father and Non-Jewish mother does not produce an accepted Jew. A Jewish Mother and Non-Jewish father produces a natural Jew. If Mary had not been a Jew then Jesus would not have been a Jew. His being the seed of David could have well came from David.
Only if the tea is decaffeinated will it not have an effect.

The Bible gives the lineage of Jesus through both Mary and Joseph, and both trace back to David.
However, the telling of both genealogies names Joseph as the father, even though Mary was impregnated by Holy Spirit.
Genealogies in both the Gospels and the Pentateuch follow the Jewish tradition of naming the father, even though the previous generation named was on the maternal side of the family.
That's human tradition, for you!

:) Who ever told you xtianity made sense? xtians know xtianity doesn't make sense but stubbornly fight against all things rational and insist on believing a delusion.
Judaism used ancient myth as parables to teach rational wisdom, but xtians and muslims mistranslated Jewish scripture and then read it as literal history - the polar opposite of its intention.
