Why do people confuse monogamy with celibacy......?

That just may be the way some married people are, they stop or rarely have sex any more so they might as well be celibate. Maybe a lot of monogamist couples are celibate, like catholics with no children. Who cares anyway sex is fun don't ruin it with celibacy.

I guess that there are a lot of married couples whose love lives are rather lacking. Or the people who are confusing monogamy with celibacy are promiscuous and used to having multiple partners and couldn't imagine not living that way. *shrugs* I don't know, I'm just guessing.

I never did. If I was in a long-term committed relationship, I would plan on having sex until I physically couldn't or my partner couldn't.

I don't know what either of those are so you've stumped me...
