How can the Republicans have the gall to blame Obama when Bush ran the country into the ground for 8 years?
Bush took a $5 trillion surplus that Clinton left him and turned it into a $10 trillion deficit. And it wasn't the Democratic Congress that did it. It was Bush pouring $2.5 trillion into Iraq and Afghanistan acting on his own who buried the country in debt. This economy is Bush's fault for at least the next 7 years, until Obama's presidency ends if he's reelected. The GOP is so weak and devoid of ideas that out of desperation all they can ever do is blame the Democrats. Republicans have been obstructionists since the Clinton Administration.

The country did excellent for seven years - the last year was when the bubble broke. One has to remember that Clinton really did a number on the country with his short term economic policy (who cares what happens after I'm gone theory) and President Bush did get the economy rolling again with the tax cuts but it never fully recovered. He warned Congress at two state of the union addresses that they needed to address the home mortgage problem (both Republican and Democrat Congresses ignored the warnings) but they did nothing. Note too that the problems began within a year that the Democrat Party won control of Congress. President Bush proved not to be such a good President but to blatantly lie by mouthing the liberal propaganda machine's out pourings doesn't help matters. The bottom line is that Obama is making the same mistakes Bush did but on a grander scale so he geys the blame (Presidents always get the blame whether fair or not).

You know that "surplus" gets bigger every time I hear a lib talk about it. If it was so huge, why did the democrats piss and moan about a 2.5% tax cut spread out over a 10 year period of time? And as far as I can recall every military budget was passed in congress. Were the Democrats asleep or just stupid?
Oh and spending 4 times as much in 12 months as Bush did in 8 years is not the solution. Its a pity that you libs can't own up to the fact that you did as much or more to get us where we are today.

The budget has never been balanced under republican presidents. As a matter of fact, they add to the debt 6 times more than democrats.

with the aid of fact he did not, sweetie. Democrats took over congress in 2006. before then, our financial gadget replaced into doing fairly properly. there replaced into no "Clinton surplus." it is only something the libbies tell themselves to lead them to sense extra suited approximately how he replaced into very almost impeached for mendacity to a grand jury and dropping his license to coach regulation. Obama has spent extra in below a 300 and sixty 5 days than the different President in historic previous, which comprise Bush. remember all the criminal and different scandals and crimes for the time of the Clinton years? remember, working example, the pardons suited before he left place of work? I actual have a itemizing in case you may like it. Obama has had fairly some issues too and he's only in place of work for a 300 and sixty 5 days. Obama's been in place of work a 300 and sixty 5 days, honey, not 6 months. And the place's that link to coach that somebody "spent 8+ trillion for oil speculators?" suited, lies and extra lies. only for the reason which you like it, does not make it real. Gee, possibly with the aid of fact....this is a problematical one for you....Bush and "his" Republicans weren't ultimately to blame. take a glance at Barney Frank, working example, I say understanding this is a waste of time to speak sense with you.

Dem congress from 06 is when things started imploding. So if the $2.5 trillion is bad then you must really be pissed at Obamas $14 trillion

Quit blaming Bush, put on you big girl panties, and do something about it then. As long as Dems continue to blame Bush they are powerless to do anything because its Bush's fault.
