Cat Birth is it more or just happyness?

Ok so exactly 2 and a half months ago from today my cat got pregnant (big mistake please no one tell me how irrisponsible it was i already know) any ways and i did the math and the kittens would come exactly today. i was right. She had 5 kittens behind my bed and everytime right before she had one she would purr heavily and lick her area's and it's been 4 hours since her last kitten but her purring is picking up and she's started licking, is she having more or just happy and cleaning?

Update:

and now we are tryin to give her water and she acts like she REALLY wants it but everytime she is about to take a drink she looks over at her kittens worried.

labor can take a long time with cats

just keep an eye on her

if shes still lickin she may still have another one coming out

just watch and still see if she is having contractions

if she doesnt have another one soon you can prolly assume shes done but ya never really know

have fun with all those baby kittens..they are just sooo cute when they are little

we had 2 mama cats just have litters so now we have 4 new babies

not irresponsible to let ur cat have kittens..just make sure the kittens get spayed and neutered

Cats purr not only when they are happy but they purr when they are very emotional or like nervous about something, that may be why she is still purring. Its doubtful that she is really happy like a person would be if they had a baby. It;s more instinct than anything.
