Sick kitten with blood on poop?

I have a 3 week old kitten that i found on the rain, a week ago, he survived. He is stronger, bigger and fluffier. Also Just opened his eyes. I have been feeding him replacement milk for the past week, he's been peeing and pooping regularly and his hunger is normal. I've even massage his stomach so that he can get rid of gas and his stomach can work better, but recently he's been pooping some blood, not a lot maybe like a small drop or a trace of blood. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

First of all, thanks for saving the kitten! It's really great that you're feeding him milk replacer and pampering him to make him stronger. He's a lucky baby! :)

But unfortunately, it's hard to tell why there's blood in his stool. You said that there's not much blood in the stool right now, though... only about a drop... and if it stays that way, he'll probably be fine. He's probably just a bit sensitive to the milk replacer or something, but of course, anyone who's not a vet can't know for sure.

If you start finding more blood in his stool, though, you should take him to the vet right away. After all, there are a lot of possible reasons for the blood, but the only SAFE way to find out the true cause is to take him to the vet. I realize that you probably don't want to spend money to find out what's wrong with him, but you'll have to if it gets any worse. The small amount of money that you'll have to pay will be nothing in comparison to how you'd feel if he ended up getting really sick or dying. :(

First thing you should do is get some wormer. If the kitten was outdoors you are pretty much guaranteed that it has worms. You can get wormer over the counter anywhere that carries pet food. If it gets worse or the kitten starts acting sick I might think about a vet, but I would try worming it first.

Thank you so much for being such a caring person! Where did you find the kitten? I really want to know so I could give you more detail on what could be happening to your kitten. He might have a bacterial infection or a cut inside of him. I suggest bringing him to an experienced vet, who can tell you much more. I really hope he is ok! Good luck!

I send my concern and love!

PS please tell me where he was found!

they might probable have worms, yet do no longer circulate to the puppy shop and purchase kitten malicious application drugs! in case you are able to no longer take care of to pay for to take all of them to the vet, take a stool pattern in and function the vet examine it. you easily shouldn't sell them with the form of difficulty. Kittens have very small bodies and don't have plenty blood at the beginning. in the event that they're passing blood of their stools, they might probably bleed to loss of existence. Get ahold of a vet and ask what to do!!

I know this isn't a very good answer but check this site out http://en.allexperts.com/q/Ask-Veterinarian-700/ki...

also i was looking around the internet and alot of places kept saying something about it being worms and taking it to the vet and the vet gave them antibiotics hope this helps but you should take him to the vet though.
