Would you be offended if someone you met of The opposite sex, told you they would like to just remain friends>?
Would it offend you that they did not see you as having what they are looking for as a mate. But would enjoy your company to hang out from time to time as Friends? and if this wouldn't offend you .How would you feel when they do meet that person that fits what they are looking for?

it would not be offending at all. each person on earth is different, and has diffferent needs.
And if he/she did find that special person I would have to be happy for him/her, and to rememeber that my speical person is out their, but i just need to find him!

Why would anyone be offended?
IT'S PERFECTLY NORMAL
It takes two inputs to make a relationship work.
If one thinks there is a:
Lack of interest
Lack of attraction
Lack of chemistry
GOOD - pat them on the back for pointing it out sooner.
There is nothing worse than getting yourself into a relationship where one partner thinks less of you; like they are not really into you at all.
And if someone does get offended by their friend telling them they would rather remain friends. I think they should reflect on their emotions.
Sensitivity over selfishness.....is stupid.
Overall if my friend happened to find love,
I'd feel happy for them; not to say I wouldn't be a bit sad,
but "offended" - no.

This has happened to me. I really liked someone but they did not want a relationship and just be mates. I wouldn`t say I felt offended but it does hurt and disappoint. If you accept the situation its o.k. If they meet someone else but if you are still secretly hankering after them in the hope of a relationship developing then its gonna suck.
Some you win, some you lose.

Well yes and no if I really liked them (by the way I have gone thru this myself) it would hurt but I would rather have them as a friend than not have them at all but if a had a small crush Hey I get to hang out with them its better than being told "hey srry I don't like you so leave me alone" that just sucks **** if u know wat I mean anyway yea I would rather have them be friends with me than not
Hoped I helped :D

It don't feel good for surely I really would just try not to hang out with them or if i was in the mood for making them feel dumb I would hang out with them but just bring a girl finer than her and say oh ya we are together how do you feel now
