What it is, that your a walking dead man/women. Sure you could be living a happy life but what is going to happen after you die? Lets say you don't believe in heaven or hell, and than you died, not would happen. BUT what if you WRONG and there is a Heaven and a Hell, and you died rejecting Christ Jesus, you would be ending up in hell. So that's what people are trying to save you from! Eternal separating from your Creator! Simply read and Obey Acts 2:38 and start from there. Your eyes will Open to the truth, just let someone (Mainly from an Apostolic Pentecostal Church) to give you a bible study and it will turn your life around. Shalom

Wow you are so right I go through this a lot! We dont need anything and we aren't missing out on anything! I hate when people try to push their religion on me. The truth is a lot of these religious people are lost and that is why they go to church and for some reason they think they will find some miracle answer that is going to help them. With all the tragedies that go on in the world its hard to believe there is an almighty god, the one that they pray to for help and in turn they get crime, hate and nothing close to being loved. I dont believe in that born again stuff, its called grow up and take responsibility for your actions!

What amazes me is that they just quote their silly book, all get together and reinforce the nonsense so they don't lose "faith" in it, push it on others, and never once stop to ask themselves if any of it even comes close to making sense.

The problem they have though, is that if they did stop to think about it, they wouldn't be able to believe it all anymore. They certainly can't acknowledge anything from the scientific community as being more likely, it would terrify them to lose their promised immortality.

It's just desperation really, they HAVE to believe. And therefore so do you.

They feel obligated to save others because (1) the Bible kinda says so; (2) their church leaders encourages people to do so.

Some Christians have convert quotas...some compete for the greatest number of converts.

In defense of Christians, most convert with very good intentions. Then again, most converters of anything do so with good intentions.

colder all that could change overnight - however there is no one here on earth that has the power to save you. so if they are telling you that they can then I doubt that they are true Christians, for Christians can only help lead you to Christ He is the one that does the saving and I too want you to realize that one day when your circumstances may change and you do need saving then Christ will be there for you as well as anyone else that might need Him. 1. It's a God given commandment for believers to reach the lost

2. You are lost, at minimum you spirit is unhappy(which tends to show in other things as well) and weahter you want to admit it or not you are in need of recue. Will you recue yourself from your own sins?

It's usually in the preaching of Christians to "save others." While it can get annoying, do try to understand them because it is their belief that there are injustices in this world and that action is the only recourse. They feel very passionate about converting others because in their view, it can make the world "right."

They need to save you because apparently you need to believe in god and jesus to go to heaven... wow, so even if you gave all your wealth to the poor or saved someone by dieing, you apparently don't go to heaven because your and atheist... Thats sounds so extremely logical and resonable (sarcasm) and god apparently hates everyone who believed in logic rite?

From what I have gathered, it all comes down to either wanting to eliminate all theological difference or the drive of greed (they REALLY want eternal happiness for themselves), they could not care less about your well being.
