Doula help... how do I pick one over the other nicely?

So the hubby and I interviewed three doula's. The first was a doula in training and we felt no connection with her

The second two actually back each other up

We met them today and they were both great!!!! HOWEVER we had originally set up the appt with woman A and we got to meet Woman B as they back each other up

SO here is my dilemma..

How do I tell woman A and woman B that they were both great however we would prefer woman B if they were both available at this time I deliver. If woman B is not available then we'd still be very happy with Woman A as her back up doula

We just clicked a little more with woman B and now I feel sooo bad (which I shouldn't, that is why they do the interviews)

Thanks everyone!!!

I would explain it just the way you have, except use their real names instead of Woman A and Woman B (LOL). You've explained it perfectly, and I'll bet they both will understand and appreciate your honesty and sincerety.

I'm not sure if you've seen this page on the internet, but thought you might appreciate it a bit, since it's got alot of info about Doula's and how to pick the one that is right for you:

These people are professionals. Their job is to help you feel comfortable during your delivery, so they are bound to understand you picking the one you feel most comfortable with. Just tell Woman A exactly what you told us, she won't be upset.
