Do you think US government employee cost of living raises should be the same as people on social security?

I just want to know what others think. I mean politicians and workers.

Update:

Buy the way I'm a government employee who believes we are overpaid.

Government workers generally are overpaid. Their wages compared to those of us in the private sector (that would be those of us who are paying their wages) are unjustly high. Their unions should be illegal.

Social Security recipients generally deserve more than they actually get, although as time goes on it will be more and more difficult to pay their benefits.
