Is it weird to have 3 kids with 3 different hair colors?
Mine's a really light brown kinda like honey, my bro's is dark blond, my sister's is like strawberry blond. My dad's is dark brown, my mom's is like dark red like that lady who plays Addison.
Nobody's adopted & we look alike in the face.

Not at all. All three of my biologically born children have different hair colours, light brown, med. brown and blonde. They all resemble my partner and-or myself, but have different hair colour. My half siblings, 10 of them, are all born to my father and his wife, and have every hair colour under the sun, from black to bright red to silvery white blonde.
Hair colour is a much more complicated genetic question than a simple Mendelian trait such as blood type, widow's peak hairline or dimpled cheeks. It can't be calculated just by looking at one's parents: you would have to go many tens of generations to get a total picture of your genetic possibilities for things such as hair colour, eye colour, height, and other complex traits.

Do you all have the same father?
Ok now seriously , Three kids can look completely different from their parents. My sister could pass and is often mistaken for hispanic with her dark skin and almost jet black hair. She is a twin but they couldn't look more different. Also, an interracial couple that are friends of mine have a son with a blonde fro and light skin. He is adorable and I know other couples like this. Kids can take after a grandparent. Its all in the genes and the unique child that those genes makeup.

Actually, sometimes it's natural... Parents look different when they are children, like let's say someone has blond hair. As they grow, the genes change, don't ask me why. So the blond hair kid grows up, about maybe ten years later, and her hair turns somewhere around dark brown. In the next ten years, her hair can turn auburn. I know this because I had somewhere around blond when i was little, it went brown, and now my hair is auburn. all in thirteen years. Anyway, as i was saying, sometimes it's natural because people's hair genes change. Hope that helps.

It's not weird at all. In my lifetime, I've had 3 natural hair colors all by myself.
I was born with jet black hair.
By the time I was 3 it was blond.
Then as I got older it started getting dark again (dark blond, light brown, auburn, and my natural color is now a deep brown....with grey highlights, lol.
In the summer I get red highlights...well...I used to. I have more grey now and you don't see the red as much.
My mother has red hair (that changes shades with her age and how much sun she gets) and my father has dark brown hair.
I have a sister who was born blond and went to dark brown.
My son was born and remains with dark brown hair and my daughter's hair changes with her age and the seasons. She was born with dark hair and went blond then gradually got darker. In sixth grade it was it's darkest (looked black from a distance) and now it's getting really light again, all naturally.

Nope, not weird.
I'm one of FOUR kids (same father) and we each have different hair colors, body shapes, height, etc. Just similar faces.
Brother, 22. Dirty blond hair, 5'10, chunky, light skin, doesn't tan easily.
Brother, 20. Brown hair with natural red highlights, 6'8 tall, very tan skin (almost looks part black or Russian or something)
Self (girl), 17. Red hair, 5'7, middle weight, VERY light skin.
Sister, 15. Blonde hair (blonde!), 5'9, skinny, light skin, but tans easily.
I don't think it's weird. In fact, I think it's beautiful. Isn't it cool to see how many different ways two people's DNA can combine?

I have three children (all with the same father lol!) Two have very light blonde hair and blue eyes, the other has dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes.
Both my husband and I were blonde when we were small, but have now gone darker.
Genes are funny things!

Not at all. Red hair results from the mix of genes for brown and blonde hair (essentially) which means your mom is a carrier for brown and blonde hair. Your dad is a carrier for blonde hair. That combo means you and your siblings could have just about any color of hair and it wouldn't be weird.

First of all your parents' hair was different when they were kids, just like your grandparents. My dad had darkish hair when I was a toddler but he had really blonde hair as a little boy. My daughter's hair is much more like mine now she is 12 but not at all like when she was born or little. My sister had blonde curly hair when little but turned into light brown thin hair, my brother had thin straight light brown hair and I had mousy/blonde thick hair. I have still got my thick hair and they have still got thin and balding hair. Depends on which genes we are lucky or unlucky to have. I love my hair but wish I could have had their beautiful blue eyes and olive skin. I have fair skin with some freckes and grey/hazel eye colour.

Anything is genetically possible. My good friend is the complete opposite of his brother in terms of physical appearance. I also had light blond hair as a kid and it gradually turned to dark brown even though my dad has black hair and my mother has auburn.
