what is the difference between mandating car insurance and mandating health insurance?
can anyone tell me?
If its only state mandated then why is it all states have mandated it and what is the difference at that point?

You cannot choose to 'not own' a body. Don't get me wrong, I' liberal and I support the bill but I've lived in towns and counties with outrageous car insurance premiums and had to chose not to drive for a few months. Health care is all about having a 'health'. Its still a good question though.

By mandating Car Insurance, they are mandating that you protect others from your actions, while partaking in a privilge(Driving) To the best of my knowledge,no State requires you to carry any insurance on yourself, only liability. If you are required to carry full coverage, that is primarily because you have a car loan,so your coverage protects the person giving you the loan.
Mandated Health Insurance,is basically a Tax for a Right(Living) Shall we start taxing the rest of our Rights? How about we force people to buy the newspaper, because of the right to a free press. Perhaps we should force you to keep a lawyer on permanent retainer, based on your right to a fair trial.Or how about forcing you to buy a Public Address System based on your Right to Free Speech.

we've beat this dogs to lack of existence for the perfect many years. have you ever no longer been listening? in spite of what you so ignoratly argue. you do not have tocontinual a automobile. yet you do might want to stay. you've also completly did not understand the 10th modification of the constituion. State Governments mandate automobile insurance no longer the federal authorities. the federal authorities does no longer have that means.

You pay for car insurance to cover damage you do to another person's car. Insuring your own car is completely optional. Now if we were getting health care insurance to cover other people in case we ran over them or something, then you'd have a valid comparison.
It's apples and oranges my friend.

Driving a car is a choice and it's the State that compels you to buy insurance for it. Having Health Insurance is a choice and the Feds are violating the Constitution by forcing you to buy into it.

Car insurance is a state mandated insurance, not a federally mandated one.
You can also opt out of it by not driving a car....you can't opt out of the healthcare mandate.
