Why don't they make mouse, small bird and gold fish cat food?

because companies that make pet food cant be bothered to actually farm aninmals or breed them for pet food. they use all the parts of the cows, chickens etc that humans dont consume to make the pet food because they can get bulk quantities and not pay that much. thats why if you read pet food ingredients they say meat meal or min 4% meat because there is no actual proper meat.... its all the junk we humans dont eat that are sold to pet food manufacturers.

Because birds and gold fish and birds are also pets, and they would have to kill small animals for food for the cat, but like Beachgirl said, cows are huge and they will be made into many many cans of cat food for cats.

true but they dont because then to make that for tonnes of cats they would have to kill tonnes of birds, mice , goldfish

but cows are huge so one cow can then be made into lots of cans of beef for cats

but lets just say a goldfish cant even make one can

and there are farms that raise alot of cows and chickens and then they become dinner :)

because PETA would have a cow and start protesting again. And the last thing pet stores need is more stripping girls trying to save animals- even though they kill over 90% of the animals they "save". In my opinion they do need it, but no one needs PETA.
