hallucination to access forgotten memories?

So i heard of a type of hallucination where you can see someone that isnt really there but they can answer questions that you know but cant digg in your memory deep enough to remember the answer. (i first saw this on house and looked it up that same day and found it somewhere but i dont remember)

so i was wondering if this is actually possible?

and if so, how would it have to be done? i believe on house, it was because he was regretting something or something like that. i dont remember exactly.

i kinda wanna try it but only if its easy, harmless, drugfree, and i am able to get rid of it when i wanted.

Update:

It was a long time ago and i seem to make mistakes in memories but i remember seeing it on a TV show called House, a guy who is a drug addict is the best doctor in the world, always dealing with the most complicated cases ever.

A girl that he seems to be enemies with, yet friends, or something like that, dies in his care after taking some pills and then getting in a train wreck. i cant explain it all. But a few episodes later, he starts hallucinating and is seeing her everywhere, no mater how much he wants to get rid of her. But basically, shes an all access pass to House's brain. At first he thought he was hallucinating from lack of sleep. But then he finally gets sleep and when he wakes up he goes into the bathroom to watch his face. He thought that the girl was gone. But as he smiles and turns around, shes standing right there.

After watching this episode, i remember looking it up on the computer and finding something about it, although i may be wrong. I'm not completely sure

Hallucinations are generated by the brain so any answer would also be, in other words you would give yourself the answer you want to hear..

Never heard of hallucinations being used the way you mention, seems a it to much like on tv for me, I know you can been hypnotically regressed, but hallucination usually requires drugs to induce it.

What you're refering to are 2 exceptional matters one is a visible cue that has caused a distinct reminiscence the opposite is as you set the intent by means of an underlying intellectual sickness.

Sorry but you will need drugs. I suggest shrooms.
