Can you still buy polystyrene ceiling tiles in the UK ?
I know that they were found to be highly flammable in the past, but it's possible to buy polystyrene coving which, I assume has a new "recipe" which is flame retardant, perhaps they have also managed to develop a similar product which comes in the form of a tile.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

B and Q are your best bet they're a large retailer and sell a lot. They also have a huge selection of tiles and things in their stores.
Ask at the store if they have some inflammable ones, also there is HomeBase, Wickes perhaps too.
I hope I helped.

You can buy the coving from B&Q because I've bought some........
I just asked my ex who's a painter & decorator about the tiles, and he says he doesn't think they're sold anymore because they're a fire hazard, he hasn't put any up for years and he worked for the council so..........
