Should I stay in school or take this job offer?

I just finished my first year of school towards a business degree...should I stay and finish, or take a job that starts at $25/hr and after a year I have the chance if I want to start my own business making about $60,000/yr at least working directly with the same company. I enjoy both lines of work, but I could have almost $100,000 saved in the bank by the time I would be graduating anyway...

Update:

...also I could take the job and then take only night classes until I graduate?

...also the job has the potential to earn over $100,000/yr just like a business degree would.

Sounds like you are in the same position many athletes face when they have to decide whether or not to enter the draft before graduating college. If that's a salary in the neighborhood of what you want to make in your career, then you have no use for staying in school. Take it. The whole reason you are in college is to get a job in business. Well, it looks like you are being offered a job in business. College will always be there and good career opportunities only last until the next qualified individual comes along.

I think it's best to get at least the first degree out of the way. Most people leave their education hanging and by the time they want to get back to it, they feel like they don't have the passion to learn or they feel too old for it. You have the opportunity to earn more than what the job offer stands at the moment. What's a few more years of school, right?

But if wish to take the offer and want to take night classes, ask if you have the time for both. If yes, go for it. But education is important, at least get the first degree.

Right now taking the job sounds like easy money, and it probably is. But staying in school you'll go through the hardships and in the end you'll be alot more successful than you could have been with that job. Don't worry too much on money right now, finish your studies. Everything will work out in the end

Take it. Take it. Permanent is relative. It is not unethical. It is common sense. Since you don't know how long you will be in the field there is no doubt that you will be there until you decide to do something else. Going back to school is apparently not carved in stone and you can always take classes while you are working. Take it!!!

With the economy today stay in school. This company may fold in a year you never can tell. Getting that degree will benefit you in the future. I know the money sounds good but you can do better with that degree.
