What's wrong if I suffered a head injury and lost feeling in my face?

Some man tried to rob me, and beat me with a crowbar, it busted my head open slightly, they put staples in it and it healed, but now i can't feel certain areas in my face..what's wrong? The incident happened two weeks ago.

    GO TO A DOCTOR!

    Oh my goodness it baffles me that people have extreme health problems and instead of seeing a doctor they ask Y!A.

    "Dear Yahoo,

    My leg has been chopped off and all this red stuff is spilling everywhere. How do I get these stains off my floor?"
