I had an eye exam & got my Rx?

Can I use the prescription they wrote for glasses & get contacts instead?

In the US, a contact prescription will also include the brand of contact lenses that has been prescribed, along with the base curve and diameter of those lenses, as well as the final Rx power for those lenses.

So No, an Rx for glasses can't be used for contacts.

nope. you have to get a separate exam AND prescription for contacts. IT's a bummer. But you can get the exam don somewhere cheap and then take it to a place that has cheap prices for contacts.
