My spayed female cat was attacked by a ginger tom. I don't know what actually happened but she came running in and when I picked her up she peed all down me, ran upstairs, pooped as she ran into my bedroom and then hid under the duvet shaking all night. To say she was petrified is an understatment. That was about year ago and she's never been the same since and has now been prescribed valium and anti-depressants. My personal feeling is that this male cat "raped" her. I know a lot of people will find this ridiculous but I checked her over and she had no physical wounds but this cat has had such an awful effect on her. What else could he have done to her to make her such a nervous wreck? He would come into my garden every now and again and we would try and scare him away but everytime he appeared my cat Piper would end up shaking under the duvet again. Thankfully he's not been around for a while
