I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star, in somebody else's sky, but why? why? why can't it be, can't it be mine?

    Black - Pearl Jam

I have many, but that's the only one I can think of.

All the lyrics to Time by Pink Floyd.

"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day

Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way

Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town

Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain

And you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking

Racing around to come up behind you again

The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time

Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way

The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say"

Sorry I can't pick any one lyric out of that song. It's all pure gold.

She came from Greece she had a thirst for knowledge, she studied sculpture at Saint Martins College, that's where I caught her eye. She told me that her dad was loaded, I said "In that case I'll have a rum and coca-cola, she said "Fine" and in 30 seconds time she said "I want to live like common people, I want to do whatever common people do, I want to sleep with common people, I want to sleep with common people like you". Well what else could I do, I said "I’ll see what I can do." I took her to a supermarket, I don’t know why but I had to start it somewhere, so it started there. I said 'Pretend you’ve got no money’, but she just laughed and said "Oh you’re so funny", I said "Yeah. Well I can’t see anyone else smiling in here."

I've seen a rich man beg

I've seen a good man sin

I've seen a tough man cry

    I've seen a loser win

    And a sad man grin

I heard an honest man lie

I've seen the good side of bad

And the down side of up

    And everything between

"I'm sick of feeding my soul to people who'll never know just how purposeless and empty they've grown. Because the language confuses like computers refuse to understand how I am feeling today."

    - Map of Your Head by Muse

I just really love the lyrics to that song, although I'm not really quite sure why... Oh well. I don't question it.

'If I could choose a place to die, it would be in your arms.'

Eric Clapton - 'Bell Bottom Blues'

'You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice

You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill

    I will choose a path that's clear

    I will choose free will'

    Rush - 'Freewill'

'I like big butts and I cannot lie...'

    I forget...
