Is it normal for a married man to want to take another female out to the movies?
My HUSBAND wants to justify why its ok for him and his friend to go out with two girls to the movies. He doesnt know the girls, and he says that it is innocent because he doesnt have anysexual intentions. In his brain, its ok for a married man to be taking another woman out to show them a good time. Thoughts??
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMON SENSE

No, its not normal.
As a husband, personally i would never do that.
If i wanted to see a movie, and my wife was not available to go with me. I would either go alone (if i really wanted to see it) or not go at all.
But i would never go with two woman, even if a friend was with me.
It just sends the wrong signals to everyone. To you, to them, to his friend.
Its almost inconsiderate towards you. Even if it is innocent.

I'm married and I can tell you right now my hubby would never even consider putting himself in that position. I'm sure he knows if he seriously asked me for permission he wouldn't live long enough to see the damn movie. He has a bff from high school who is a girl that we hang out with and that would be totally okay because they are like siblings but I don't see how this could be seen as anything else than a "dating" situation. So, were you not invited? I would be hurt by this.

Its already a date once a man and a woman goes to movies whether married or not. If he has not seen the girl, its blind date. Your husband is already welcoming the idea of another a romantic alliance. I had an 2 office mates, a married man and a single woman. they claim they are friends when they went to movie last year, they told us. Now the girl is pregnant. Why can't your husband go with you instead?

My first thought is, "Why in the world would you even consider asking this question?" You need to sit this guy down and explain to him he is a married man and as such the only female he goes to the movies with is his wife; while he still has one. If he wants to be able to "date" again by all means tell him to have fun all the while you are calling your lawyer. He is trying to see how far he can push and what you will put up with.

Taking out two girls he doesn't know? Entirely inappropriate and unnecessary.
If he were going out with a group of friends that included two girls, that'd be a different story, but this scenario sounds like a double date. I wouldn't "not let him", but I doubt I'd still be there when he got home.

sounds like a double date to me. i would never allow my hubby to do this and if i caught him, i would give him hell.
why not ask him if he minds when you go out to the movies with a single guy.
better yet, why not invite yourself along for the movie trip. then you can keep an eye on things and let him and the girls know how things are. to even the numbers out, you can get another guy friend and make it a group date.

Normal? Yes, for a cheater it is. There is zero reason for him to go to the movies with anyone he is not related to, unless perhaps, he asked you to go with him and you said "no" and he is going with GUY friends. At this point though, I wouldn't trust him to go to church by himself.

Why not, if you can go with two guys to the movies. tell him you are going with two basketball players guys to the movies.

Give it right back to him...or at least make him think you are, go out with a girlfriend and sum guys...dancing or to a dark movie theater like he is!
But I'm with u...thats f'd up! I would kick my man's a$$ with those b.s excuses!
Follow his a$s to the movies and see for yourself....it sounds fishy to me.
Or Ask him how he would like it if you did the same thing....????
