In Genesis, the creation myth?

god creates man, and man names all living things. At no point is there a comment on god creating language. If Adam was created in god's image, what language does Adam speak?

Update:

Words, phrases and languages are handed down through the ages. Surely a language only 6,000 years old would be known by way of historical documentation

`) There is no creation myth in Genesis, only a creation narrative.

    2) Your comment about there being no comment on God creating language is an argument from silence. Obviously, Adam had some language as he could talk with God and God could talk to him.

    3) The bible doesn't mention which language Adam spoke or even if, whatever language it was, it still existed after the Tower of Babel. Such a triviality would hardly be worth recording.

    4) It's possible that it was documented, but such documents have since been lost, destroyed, or no longer decipherable. However, you give no reasons why people "surely" would have done this. Perhaps they just weren't as interested in the topic as people are nowadays or didn't realize that language was changing.

Adam spoke whatever language God created him with. Since the tower of Babel and the confusion of languages, we don't know what that language was.

Get out there and "live"! better hurry cause in no time your just going to grow old wrinkle up die and lay decomposing in a pine box until eaten by worms. Hope you have more of a "life" than us boring christians who expext to live forever in paradise.

At the tower of babel (Gen. 10 or so) God confounded man's language thereby, a bunch of languages were created. If we could find the books of Enoch refered to in the dead sea scrolls, I bet that we could have a written version to check out

This is a nonsense troll question.

Created in the image of God means that he is intelligent , has free will, divine life and a soul.

God of course has no body and has no need of anyone nor anything including worship.

You are confusing Creator with created. They are not equal.

Your image (picture ) is not the same as you. There are similarities.

Some of the meaning of image of God is explained in the rest of the bible.

There was only one language then. It was when they tried to build a tower up to the heaven that God confounded their language and made them to not understand each other.

Being unfallen yet, it would be a pure language - that properly reflecting the true natures of things.

But what we would call it is unknown.
