Which law enforcement leaders option about Arizona immigration law do you give more weight to?

The elected sheriffs who are politicians with badges. Most of whom have no law enforcement experience.

or the police chiefs who have law enforcement experience and are not trying to get reelected.

"Police chiefs from across the country vented to Attorney General Eric Holder Wednesday about Arizona's immigration law, saying it will burden law enforcement and that local sheriffs who claim to support the policy are driven by politics." Fox News

I always try to use sources that people can't call liberal media.

Update 2:

Most police chiefs stopped being police officers and started being unelected politicians the minute they became chiefs particularly, those in the big cities. Do you honestly think if they came out in support of this law, they would still keep their cushy desk jobs? Their opinion means little to me especially those outside of Arizona.

Their role is not to question what law may put a burden on law enforcement. Their role is to figure out a way to make it work. If they cannot do this, they should resign and let someone who can do the job.

How many of those police chiefs were from Arizona? That's a good question...

Another question would be why ANYONE would put any trust in an Attorney General who won't bother to read 10 pages of legalese before commenting on it.

Police chiefs with law enforcement experience---which from where I am, includes almost all departments.

You have to understand that unless these people were already opposed to the law they would not have been invited to meet with Holder. Maybe they are just too lazy to want to do the work.

There are many reasons Arizona is the stupidest state in the nation - and the recent immigration buffoonery is just one of them.
