My cat wont eat anything?
She is 14 years old, and for the past two days she just stopped eating all together.
She hates the car and the vet so much that I hesitate to take her in and get her looked at.
We recently went on a 2 week trip, so she could be a little messed up because of that. She has been acting very friendly lately, loving to be pet, and sitting on my lap and stuff. She wont eat wet or dry food, of even drink milk. Any ideas why?
put her down! I dont think so. She seems pretty healthy other than the eating thing. 14 is too young to put a cat down.

First check her mouth see if she has any teeth problems, there might be some thing stuck in her teeth or she could a infected tooth that would cause her not want to eat, 'cause it hurts. If so don't try to fix it your self, you'll have to bring her to the vet.
2nd where did you bring her on the trip? If it was some where, were the water tastes different as it could be actually to clean for her to be use to or it could to bleachie tasting. This would cause her to feel sick.
She is only 14 that isn't very old for a cat, so I don't think you need to think about putting her down. But Call the vets and tell them what's going on. They pro's so they know what to do. If they don't think its that bad cause it could be just a tummy bug they'll tell you what to do. But If they a little conserned they'll ask you to bring her in, and if they tell you to, you should 'cause its her health and it'll be over soon enough for her!
Hope I helped!

It could be because of the time you were away, since she's being very lovey towards you. I'd keep trying to get her to eat even try and entice her with some treats either store bought or a people food she loves. She may be eating at night but only a little. At her age she probably doesn't have as much of an appetite. No I wouldn't put her down unless she's in pain or there's something wrong that you can't fix, and she would be suffering. As for being too young, that depends on the cat. We had to put our 16yr old down last year. Whether she likes the vet or not if she doesn't start eating in the next day or two I'd bring her in. You could even call just to get some advice on the matter. hope this helps.
