Was having a bad night, a white moth/butterfly flew onto the palm of my hand?

I've been really stressed out and scared of making a big change in my life, my husband and I have been having problems and I've been worried that we won't make it.

We were sitting outside and I had my finger tips on the top of cup with my drink in it, and my husband said "look at your hand!" and there was a white moth or butterfly... it looked a bit like both, not the average moth, but small like one. It was in the palm of my hand and I put my hand out and it sat there for a little bit then flew away. First time I've ever seen one like that....

Is there any meaning to that? Thanks!

Update:

Well it's nice to know there's some people out there that don't care to at least be kind to someone going through a rough point in life...

Thanks for the people who were honest, and not rude about it!

I'd interpret it as something like happiness is out there and within your grasp.

Hi Interesting question. When you write a book on the subject, send me a copy! Anyway, One that immediately comes to mind, was a holiday gathering, with maybe 15 guests, when i was growing up. Folks had a wire haired fox terrier. Mom had just finished setting the table with all the best linen, dishes, ect. Guests were in the living room, and everyone was chatting, when I heard a scream. Everyone turned to see the terrier in the middle of the huge dining table, chomping down on the roast. The dog took one look and made a bee-line thru the mashed potatoes to save his life. Actually everyone was laughing so hard, that the dog was spared and remanded to the bedroom. Enjoyed the other stories. Rebel

It means a moth landed on your hand. If you want to interpret the meaning of that, it's up to you.

Moths fold their wings behind, butterflies above.

    Goddidit

  • It means that a bug landed on your hand and possibly took a dump. You should wash your hands. And quit touching bugs. Eew.

Yes, it was a sign from God saying that everything will be okay.

God is showing you that you are like that little butterfly in his powerful, loving hand. He will always protect you, but he will let you be free and fly.

It means you should get marriage counseling.
