your very question speaks about your beliefs in religious preachings.

Just become a rational normal human being and think- is there any one who can tell what is eternal life, when no one has lived beyond hundred and odd years till now. Then why should we accept the concept of eternal life when the human system itself is not capable of deploying all the internal systems beyond one hundred years.

There is no difference between ordinary life and the so called eternal life because- eternal life is an imagination unfounded religious belief and ordinary life is what we enjoy and die.

Further there is no separate heaven and hell. We indians and millions like us in the world are suffering on a day to day basis in hells- With out electricity, water, sanitary conditions, medical care , transport jams, floods, draught, epidemics, and politicians, cine actors and rich are perceived by the poor to be enjoying in heaven with money and comforts. But even they are not happy all the time and have their own hellish experiences.

Only those who are not earning their bread and butter from their own sweat and efforts like the god men, babas and other religious heads are in heaven on earth.

So don' t believe about hell and heaven and enjoy life and accept the life you have as the best you can get as you cannot do anything to stop the happenings which are not under your control

Ordinary life is temporary and we never know when it will end so we need to always be prepared for eternal life. Eternal life can be spent either in awesome, wonderful Heaven or it can be spent in the torment that is Hell where there is pain suffering and agony that never ends. In Heaven there will be no more pain, no more sorrow and no more tears. The difference between eternal life if you make the right choices in your ordinary life is that it is better than anyone could ever possibly imagine.

It's not complicated as many people make it seem. It's simple as this. Ordinary life is what we have now. We live for a short period of time and then we die. Eternal life is what we would have had if Adam and Eve did not sin against God. We would have lived without ever dying. Jesus sacrifice his life in order to buy back was Adam lost which was eternal life for us. So if we exercise faith in Jesus and obey God's word we will gain eternal life in the future here on earth. (John 3:16)(John 17:3)(Psalms 37:9-11,29) God promises to bring about a new earth (new society of people) where sickness and death will no longer exist and millions will be resurrected to life again. (2Peter 3:13)(Isaiah 33:24)(Revelation 21:3,4)(Acts 24:15)

I invite you to read the scriptures using your bible.

Eternal life is a theological concept. You find it most fully expresse in the Gospel of John. I'd encourage you to go to something like biblegateway.com and look it up. Type in eternal life, and everlasting life, they are the same.

The big point is that orginary life (your wording) ends with death. Eternal life, death is not an end, but a continuation in what is often described as heaven. Jesus point of eternal life in John is that it begins with belief, becomes a present possession of the believer and continues on. Eternal life is a spiritual concept. So physical death really is just sort of a bump in the road.

Why don't you just research it yourself in the Bible?

What you are really asking is if there is life after death. The simple answer is that nobody really knows. However there are a lot of folks who "believe" this or that. Sadly their belief has no effect on the truth. So here is how it looks from here. I know that I am going to die, and that the brain cells that I am using to type this are going to rot into some sort of gooey muck. Goodbye Kuma! At the same time, there is something inside of me that says I am more than this physical body. I believe that this feeling is universal among humans, if not all sentient life. As to wither it is true or not, I cannot say, but it does appear to have been a motivating force of really great human thought throughout the ages.

"How did life come up spontaneously?" We don't know for sure yet. However, I suggest you check out the work of Dr. Jack Szostak. His work shows conclusively that protocells can and do spontaneously form in the pre-biotic earth conditions. When there is a solid theory of abiogenesis, we'll be able to say things more definitively. However, admitting that one does not know does not in any way justify another claim. Appeal to Ignorance does not work. "Life has to have a source, even deeper than the components of DNA?" Considering that DNA is too complex of a molecule to have been the start, most chemists and biologists agree. Leading research shows that DNA was not the first nucleic acid polymer. "How dooes evolution explain consciousness, development of language, and other aspects that is hard to conclude as natural selection?" Why would evolution have to explain consciousness or language? Evolution is the explanation of the diversity of life, not consciousness or the development of language. Your straw man doesn't hold up.

The 'normal' life we are accustomed to depends on a chemical existence, and is temporary. Eternal life will consist of another type of physical body made out of 'something else', which will exit forever. That something else has not been revealed, and has been glimpsed only once in the person of the risen Jesus Christ. He was a physical being, but His body did not conform to the restrictions, or physics, that ours does now. In a resurrection, we will have a new body made of the same 'stuff'. Thanks for asking.

Eternal life often refers to after life or heaven/hell. Only time is eternal, for now.
