Is mw2 just completely broken?
had the game for 3 days and so far all i get are matches where someone already has 1000+ points in free for all and being penalized for a loss because i couldn't get 30 kills before they got 10
countless nuke boosters, unbelievable lag: my character froze in place and started spinning the crosshair all over the place until the server timed out, i've emptied a clip on someone to just have them turn around and kill me in one shot, the kill cam just shows me doing nothing.
The game is just unfair, why should a beginner keep getting matched up with level 70 prestige's that have been playing since the game came out? and why should they have the over powered weapons that take no skill while the newbs have hardly anything?
Is this what call of duty is like? if so then i think i'm going back to halo, a game that is actually balanced, fun and, fair. You cod fanboys can flame all you want, but all you are going to do is make yourself look stupid

my upload is 768k and my ping is 26-34,
I usually have 5 bars and sometimes 4
but this stuff still happens
Another thing i dont like is how no one hardly ever says a word in team deathmatch but there is always at least 2 people in ffa that can't seem to stop talking
*Correction* 4 bars sometimes 3 i didn't realize you can only have a max of 4.
Anyways, I have been doing better, i tried sniping and it turned out pretty well.
kill streaks are just plain annoying.
It seems the more you camp and spam grenade's a.k.a just be as nooby as possible and you win :/
I didn't know you could start another match if you stayed in the lobby i just quit and started over i'll start sticking to one group of players more
When i say overpowered weapons i mean the m16 and fal, the m16 being the most annoying because it's not unlocked until level 40 and it kills in one shot if you have stopping power. so no chance if they shoot first

lol that is pretty much what call of duty is like. I had a solid connection, I pay quite a lot of money for it. It is very good, but even I would have games where I would just get stuck or the lag would be so bad. Now sometimes thats explainable, there are tutorials all over the web about how to make lag switches to give yourself the advatange if your host. This is one of the most hacked games ever, even on consoles you have hackers everywhere. Not to say its not fun but there are serious issues with it.
You mentioned one with the matchmaking, there is no skill or rank based matchmaking. This wouldnt be to bad but they make it worse by doing also as you mentioned and dropping you into completed games. I have come into a game just to spawn into a nuke many times when I used to play. It was annoying as hell, really the only way around that is to stick with that game so you can atleast start the next match along side everybody else.
As far as weapons go, you start the game off with some of the better ones so there never overpowered for that reason. They do have more play time and thus probally more skill but if you can keep with it you will get that yourself. The biggest downside to being new is not having the perks they do. But you can get those pretty quickly. I would say keep with the game for a few more matches, if it doesn't start getting better go back to halo. They are 2 completly different games and they play nothing alike. I prefered MW2 when I could get some good games in but its not for everybody. The game is broken and it always will be

Even though I agree with you about some things, I have to say it is still pretty enjoyable. I've played it for 3 months and I haven't gotten bored of it. You do have bad connection. This happened a lot to me at first too, but its the start that is difficult. Once you get to level 20 something its a lot better.

You get put in lobbies with those people because that isn't their real level. Most of the 10th prestige level 70's are fake because they hacked and boosted somehow. So, yes: MW2 kinda fails that way. The key to the game is to camp in Search and Destroy if you want to win play that game type.
