Brain damage? Unless it's beating you over the head with something, I don't think you need to worry about brain damage! They can simply do no more damage than if you were listening to music on your iPhone/iPod.
I've been using brainwave mp3 files to enhance my meditation, and have yet to have any problems. I put them right on my mp3 player and relax. I'd give them a try if you want to, you may be find them really useful. Good luck!

Many animals need to chew a lot! They are meant to seek for food and eat almost all their waking hours. Chewing and digesting keep the brain chemicals in balance. This would be true for hamsters. A hamster which can't chew bars to the cage or something like that, would probably start chewing its feet or something. If the bitter apple keeps your hamster from biting your hand, that's good. Let him chew cage bars to his heart's content.
