    Dear Small,

I know how frustrating this can be, unfortunately the mattress or wall to wall carpeting are two of the hardest things to get cat urine out of. The best way is to replace your mattress. You can try one of several products that are used to remove urine odor such as "Nature's Secret" or "Urine Gone", and soak the area if it has soaked down through all the bedding and into the mattress. You can wash the bedding and that will pretty much take care of that issue, however the mattress you will have to treat with a product that is made to do this. Unless you treat the mattress if it has been urinated on your cat will continue to go there.

I have a cat that did that but fortunately I caught her in the act and was able to treat the mattress since it had not had a chance to soak in. It seemed to work since there has not been another issue of this sort. Not everyone can replace the mattress and I was thrilled that the product did work, since replacing the new mattress and box springs I had just bought wasn't in the budget, and I can not detect any urine odor at all. Hope this helps.

A bed is a little more comfortable, if it helps just keep the kitten out the room, sooner or later what the kitten will do is sleep on the floor, you should provide a room for the kitten.
