I didn't like Wall-E. It was, to me, basically saying we are all going to be fat and lazy in the future cause no one wants to do anything but sit around watching TV. Yes, I think that is true kind of.... but I've been making that joke since 6th grade. I seriously always made jokes about how we would have moving chairs and be fatties and do nothing. Also it was saying how we would destroy the earth. It was basically a fringe theory about how we will all be lazy and destroy this world. It was like watching a crazy "green"-nut's film who had taken a crappy idea from my childhood.
But most of all.... I felt absolutely NOTHING watching that movie. I didn't really laugh or get sad when anything happened. I just kinda sat through it. All Pixar movies of the past made me feel happiness and sadness, but I didn't feel a thing watching Wall-E.
I personally was really touched by Up. I cried and laughed throughout it. I really felt something while watching it. Especially when Russell talked about how his dad was never around and I loved when he said that the things he remembered and liked the most were the little things like sitting around and counting the cars and eating ice cream with his dad. Cause that's really how it is. People aren't friends with others because of some big event that dramatically changed everything. Usually people say they like their friends because of the little things they do, like having inside jokes and simply hanging out together. Also how the wife thought of her life with her husband as a grand adventure. I mean, people always want adventure, something interesting to happen, but we sometimes miss that the simple things that happen ARE the adventure. It also had a greater sense of evil, the bad character to me was more frightening than most pixar villains, cause he really made himself evil in his attempt to prove himself.
So basically I felt no feelings when watching Wall-E, but when watching Up I was incredibly moved. Up was definitely the better movie. And the best of all Pixar's movies in my opinion.

Animated Disney. They are the classic Disney and they do take me back to my childhood. I like the Pixar too. Animated is just better.

I agree, both were very nice, and it's hard to decide on which was better because they were both wonderful. But I would have to go with Wall-E just a bit more because I love the plot line of it and it's cute and humorous. :D
