Kittens are very energetic and playful. They likely need more play time with you or perhaps some more toys. I make sure my toilet paper is not hanging off the roll and keep the paper towels away from where the kitties roam. Remember that the crazy ideas are a big part of what makes cats such fun roommates! I do know that yelling or punishing them after the fact doesn't work and can scare them. If you catch them in action try a spray bottle filled with water or a can with pennies to make noise, but yelling is not wise with cats and never, ever hit them.

Definitely! kittens love to play and f stuff up. I have had several cats go through a phase. The best cure is prevention- so put away paper towels in a cabinet and t.p. and anything else thay might tear up. can't do much about the food. If you catch them in the act, that is the only time they will understand discipline. I clap and yell loudly No! You can then also redirect them to aniother toy or scratching post. Make sure that they have plenty of toys, and engage them in play daily. Good Luck!
