does raspberry leaf tea really work..?
Hey im 33 weeks and 5 days and stared drinking it today. How long does it take to start working.. how many cups are you ment to drink.. and did it work for you.. i was told it helps with labour, but someone else told me it helps induce it, which one is right.. thank you xxx
no i'm not trying to induce labour.. i was making sure it didnt you stupid cow! but thank you to others for your comments

Yes, it tones your uterus. It does not induce labour.
It does help during labour. It is supposed to make the contractions more effective as the raspberry leaf tea tones your uterus.
You are supposed to start on 1 cup and work your way up gradually.
I used the tablets as I wanted to know the exact dose that i was taking. the strength of the tea will vary.
I found that it caused Braxton hicks when I had worked my way up to a higher dose.
IT DOES NOT INDUCE LABOUR <hopefully all of the people who are about to tell you that it will induce labour will read this before commenting!>

i took it with all 3 of mine i was told it helps with a quicker labour mine where
1st 10 hours
2nd 6 hours
3rd 6 hours
as i took it with all 3 i don't know if it did make labour quicker or not i was late with all 3 so it did't help induce. i also took the raspberry leaf tablets which i was told where better i got them from holland and barrats

If your only roughly 34 weeks why are you trying to induce labor ?
Ive heard its worked for some and others no.

no...i tried everything nuthn workd my baby came at 40wks exactly...u shudnt try things until ur adleast 38wks i kno ur tired of being preggers but ur babys health is more important. the only thing it myt do is help ur baby come on time

If you go into labor at 34 weeks they are just going to give you a shot and stop your contractions. Your baby's lungs wont be fully developed until 36 weeks. so are you just trying to kill your baby?
