I O inc. AK-47 c milled or stamped reciever?
I just ordered an ak-47 c from my dealer. its pne of the new U.S. made ones. Does anyone know if it is a milled or stamped reciever?

It all depends on how much you spent on it. I know the milled AK's go for 700 plus and the stamped AK's can go for 450 and up. But either way they will both function just the same. milled AK's are no better than stamped AK's. I've shot both. The only thing is that with a milled AK there is no mag wobble at all. stamped AK's have some but it never affects how the rifle functions.

Milled is not better than stamped, but it sure is more expensive! Original AK's were designed to have a stamped receiver, but production problems caused them to mill them instead until the stamped receiver was perfected! I'd say of all the AK's in the world, 99% of them are stamped.

My guess is stamped, but their web site and catalog dont mention other than fully heat treated mil-spec receivers.
