why is my cat play full but the same time rough?
ok i dont mind the playfulness but she tend to get a lil rough at times hurts ! with the nails and the biting what can i do ? to brake this habit thanks she a kitten and found her on the side of the road idk if this help full thanks

I think it's only natural for them to be a little rough when they're kittens. If she bites you and it hurts, try to get mad at her and spank her so that she'll know that she shouldn't be doing that. That's what we did to our cat and now, she knows when to stop biting. But the scratching, uhh.. I think they'll never learn not to scratch. Just be quick to remove your hands if your cat's about to scratch.

Sometimes, like children, cats can get over excited and act out. My cat often does this when playing with a bit of string and they just get so hyped up... sort of like going crazy on a sugar rush. Sometimes this may be accidental harm when the cat is actually going for the toy but its best for your cat to have long reach toys. Such things as a ping pong ball on the end of about 2ft of string.

Don't use your hands when playing with a cat, it teaches them to be rough. Instead use a cat toy like this:
