What would be a good used .270 Win for my son?

I am considering buying a used .270 Win for my son to use. He can shoot my .30-06 with 150 grain shells without a problem. However, it seems that the 180 grain may be a bit much for him and as he is pretty inexperienced, I don't want him thrashing my rifles as we trample through the woods stalking game. He goes in for hunter safety in a week.

So what would be a good used one to purchase and what kind of price should I be looking for. Thanks!
