When canning and the recipe calls for quart jars>>?

and all you have is pints. how do you adjust the processing time? the recipe calls for quart jars and I want to use pints do I still process for the full 10 minutes? Its been a long time sense I last did any canning. Help?!?

    I'd still process for the 10 minutes. Usually it's a 25% drop in processing time when moving from quarts to pints. When canning green beans, whole tomatoes (cold pack), corn, peaches and the like, I use the rule of thumb of 4 hours for quarts and 3 hours for pints. And NO, I do not use a pressure canner nor do I want to hear about it!
