About the mosque at ground zero...?
How many of the 70% of Americans who oppose this mosque feel as I do, that they are disgusted that such a thing would even be considered, but realize that it is illegal and unconstitutional for the government to do a thing about it.
I mean, this guy is practically my hero:

How many of you feel like I do that the only response to this mosque lies with the people? Stop the money, disgrace any contractor who even THINKS about working on this job, stand outside and let them know how sick they are, each and every day. Make it impossible to run the place and keep it up until they leave.

Right on. This is a public relations problem for Muslims in the US and only public pressure will be effective.
I would also not endorse building a Christian Crusades memorial next to a mosque.

Conservative media personality Laura Ingraham interviews Abdul Rauf's wife, Daisy Khan, while guest-hosting "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox. In hindsight, the segment is remarkable for its cordiality. "I can't find many people who really have a problem with it," Ingraham says of the Cordoba project, adding at the end of the interview, "I like what you're trying to do."
(This segment also includes onscreen the first use that we've seen of the misnomer "ground zero mosque.") After the segment — and despite the front-page Times story — there were no news articles on the mosque for five and a half months, according to a search of the Nexis newspaper archive.
Fox News were fine with it early on, funny how quickly things change...

I find talking with people in my area that most are not well informed on the issue.
Many think it is being built ON the WTC site. It is 2 1/2 New York City blocks away.
Many think it will be a mosque similar to the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, it is not. It is a Muslim community center with a swimming pool, basketball courts, sauna, weight rooms, meeting rooms, and a prayer room. I would also note that there are already 2 other mosques within walking distance of the WTC site.
Many think it was Islam that flew the planes into the WTC. It was actually radical Al Queda extremists who happened to be Muslim.
The guy in your video is an obvious far right extremists, possibly as dangerous as those who attacked us on 911.

Building a mosque on Ground zero is pure, unadulterated ARROGANCE. They are grossly abusing the freedoms given them by our Constitution. They say they want to 'build bridges and understanding'. They are doing the exact opposite and for people like myself, who have never had a problem with Muslims, they are alienating them.
They show no respect for the American people or the freedoms afforded them. They have an agenda to destroy the U.S., Israel and all other religions to install the god of Islam. Nothing is too abusive or violent to deter them from this goal.
All Americans must realize that 'freedom abused is freedom denied'. If we take them time to look how freedom has been abused and how freedom has been denied Christians and Jews, we cannot help to realize the truth of this.
Back to the arrogance: Are there any two people in U.S. politics more arrogant than Obama & Pelosi? They think their s...t is gold bricks.
Political correctness at the expense of 80 percent of the U.S. population is destroying us by our own politicians and hollywood types.

Because your emotions and reactionary behavior should get precedence over what is legally within every Americans right? Go ahead and protest, but saying you will disgrace people who do their jobs and saying people are sick just because it upsets you is just ridiculous.

I agree with everything he said. We need to put a stop to this building. I also agree that Islam is an ideology - not a religion and conflicts with American values of liberty for all.

In my opinion I don't think the mosque should be there. Because they blew up our towers and then your going to go and let them pray where thousands of loved ones were killed. That's like putting a cross in Iraq where we blew up there stuff. Those people would tear it down. So I don't think it should be there.
