Medical Transcription, Medical Coding, Pharmacy Technician?

I'm at odds as to what I would like and what I would be good at. I'd like to do one of these courses online with Career Step. I love data entry and organizing things and pay great attention to detail.

I was wondering if anyone in these fields could tell me about their job, how it is, the good/bad/ugly about it, so I can try to decide.

The simplest definition of Transcription is conversion of voice to electronic text form. Medical transcription is one of the fastest-growing professions in the country today, notifies the U.S. Department of Labor. It is ranked #14 in the top 25 professions and is ranked as a #1 home based career. You can learn and work from home. With minimum English knowledge you can do this job.

In medical coding, we have to judge and give correct code for diagnosis. There is no home based option. You should have very good medical background to do this job as you have to understand total transcribed document.

Pharmacy technician is a job title for a pharmacy staff member "who works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and performs many pharmacy-related functions."

Transcription and Coding will pay much better than Pharmacy Tech. There will also be greater opportunities for employment for the first two.
