is my cats jaw loose?

My cat is 11, maybe 12 but every time I scratch the side of her ear, her jaw sounds like it opens and shuts. It doesn't noticeably open but I hear it. It sounds like it is lose. She still eats normal and has not lost weight. But her age concerns me because her jaw sounds loose. Is this a major problem? Has this happen to anyone before? Anything I should do? Any advice is welcome.

Nah, it's alright, she's a senior cat and so long as she isn't having any strange behavior like hiding often and licking her jaw or odd feeding behavior she's alright.
